About Me

I have dedicated my entire professional life to the families of Chester County. I was honored to begin my career as the first law clerk to the Honorable James P. MacElree II, then President Judge of Family Court and now President Judge of the Chester County Court of Common Pleas. After three years with Judge MacElree, I continued my family law career by prosecuting child support cases as a Staff Attorney with the Chester County Domestic Relations Office. In 1997, I became the Assistant Director of the Domestic Relations Office and worked closely with the clients, Judges, Attorneys and other Court Departments to ensure that we were doing everything possible to provide the children of Chester County necessary financial support. After 11 years as Assistant Director it was time to serve the families of Chester County through the private practice of Family Law at The Law Offices of Karen P. Reynolds.

In terms of my educational background, I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Delaware. I earned my Juris Doctorate from the Villanova University School of Law in 1992. While studying law, I was an active member of the Moot Court Honor Society and won the National Gabrielli Family Law Moot Court Competition.

In 1992, I was admitted to the Bar in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and I have been practicing family law ever since.
